Chapter 7 You're such a good sister!
Chapter 7 You're such a good sister!
Minami walked over and sat down on the sofa.
Sana immediately withdrew from Tzuyu's lap, moved her head over, wrapped her arms around Tzuyu's waist, and rubbed her face against Tzuyu's stomach.
Tzuyu relaxed completely, rubbing her thighs which were numb from being rubbed by the pillow, and gave Mina a look—"Thank you, unnie, I'm saved."
Mina smiled gently at her, looked down at Sana in her arms, and didn't push her away, knowing that this wasn't just her being affectionate.
Sana is someone who can joke around with anyone, but she doesn't often stick to someone. This hug is more like saying, "You're back."
She changed her position to make Sana more comfortable.
"Mina, why aren't you asleep yet?"
Sana's voice came up muffledly from her legs.
"Just finished playing games, came out for some fresh air."
"Oh~"
Sana rolled over and pointed at the TV, "Look at this, Kang Ho-dong oppa is being chased by zombies, it's really funny."
On the screen, Kang Ho-dong is running wildly through the corridors of an abandoned factory with an agility completely disproportionate to his size, with a group of zombies chasing after him.
He ran while screaming, and the subtitles read, "Fearful but his mouth didn't stop."
Sana laughed so hard her shoulders shook.
Mina glanced at Tzuyu, who was still sitting next to her; it wouldn't be appropriate to speak with the child present.
She looked away, leaned back on the sofa, and watched along with them.
Soon the episode of "The Great Escape" was over. Sana loosened her grip on Mina's waist, stretched her arms, kicked her feet with lingering satisfaction, and then turned to look at Tzuyu.
"Ah~ I haven't had enough yet, Tzuyu! Are there any interesting variety shows coming up lately?"
Tzuyu was drinking water when she heard this. She put down her cup and blinked in confusion.
"Unnie, when did you start liking watching variety shows so much?"
Sana stiffened slightly.
"Uh... I'm bored, and it's not convenient to go out right now."
Sana is lying.
Mina raised an eyebrow; she knew better than Tzuyu why Sana hadn't liked watching variety shows for a while.
It's not because I don't like watching it, it's because of Jiang Yongtai's existence.
And what about today? Who was it that dragged Tzuyu to watch the entire episode of "The Great Escape" today?
It seems that Jiang Yongtai isn't the only one acting strangely.
She then spoke up, "I think I know one called 'The Non-Existent Tone-Deaf,' it sounds pretty good, let's watch that one."
Tzuyu nodded, picked up the remote control, and started searching on the platform.
"Wait a moment!"
Sana suddenly spoke, startling Tzuyu, who hovered her finger over the remote control button and turned to look at her.
"What's wrong, unnie?"
Mina also turned her head, looked down at Sana who was still leaning against her, and had a faint smile on her lips.
"Yeah, Sana, you scared Tzuyu. Don't you want to watch?"
"...I'm sorry, Tzuyu."
Sana's expression froze in a very subtle way, as if she had been slightly tripped by something.
She glanced at the TV screen, then at Mina's ambiguous smile, and finally gave up struggling.
"Look, let's look at that one."
After saying that, she slumped back onto the sofa and leaned back against Mina.
Tzuyu found it quickly and clicked play.
As the opening music began, Sana shifted her position, leaned close to Mina's ear, and whispered through gritted teeth.
"Mina! Why are you watching his show?!"
Mina chuckled inwardly, but maintained an innocent expression on her face.
"What's wrong? Whose show is this? I just got back, I just heard it's an interesting variety show."
Sana stared at her, her brows furrowing.
"You did this on purpose! Which other person could it be? Jiang Yongtai!"
Upon hearing the name, Mina couldn't help but chuckle softly.
"Oh, it's him."
She paused, her tone light and airy.
"But Sana, how do you know this variety show is his? Don't you stop watching variety shows?"
"I... I'll see! Who said I won't see!"
After saying that, she angrily lay back down on Mina's lap, stretching out her legs to harass the innocent Tzuyu.
Tzuyu didn't hear what they were whispering about; she only knew that Sana unnie had started again.
She didn't run away, because experience told her that resistance would only excite Sana more.
The program continued playing.
Mina glanced at Tzuyu, who was intently watching the screen, then slowly lowered her head and whispered something to Sana, whose mind was clearly not on the show.
"I heard he's leaving KBS."
Sana paused for a moment, then looked up from the screen and onto her face, her eyes widening in surprise.
"How did you know?!"
The sound was a bit loud, and Tzuyu turned around, looking puzzled.
"Know what?"
Sana realized she had lost her composure, so she quickly forced a smile and waved her hand in the air.
"It's nothing, Tzuyu. We were just talking about Japan."
"……oh."
Tzuyu, unsuspecting, turned back to continue watching the program.
Minami laughed and switched back to Japanese.
"You knew that too? So you already knew?"
Sana felt a little uncomfortable under her gaze, turned her face away, covered her face with a cushion, and switched back to her native language.
"I don't know! Who said I knew?"
Looking at her, who was clearly concerned to death but pretending not to care, Mina suddenly felt that tonight's drama was even more exciting than she had expected.
"Really? I thought you two were still in contact~ But he just told me he's going to tvN soon."
Sana abruptly moved the pillow that was covering her face and glared at her.
"You two are still in contact?! Didn't you block him too?"
When they broke up, Mina typed out a righteous and condemnatory message on her phone right in front of her, sent it, and then promptly blocked her.
The whole process was so smooth and seamless that Sana, still holding the tissue box, sobbed and said, "Mina, you're so kind."
So how exactly did Mina get in touch with him now?
Mina blinked, her expression innocent.
"It was said in the game. I forgot to delete it there. He sent me this message as soon as I logged in."
She didn't want Sana to know that she had "betrayed" their sisterhood for two long years.
Moreover, Jiang Yongtai is just a gaming partner; it's a personal relationship. What does it have to do with Shasha?
"That's all he said? For no reason at all..."
Mina nodded, her tone carrying a hint of shared hatred.
"Yeah, I also found it very strange, but he mentioned tvN, maybe it's for connections."
Sana's gaze darkened.
"tvN...he really..."
Her voice trailed off, the rest of her sentence drowned out by the sound from the television.
"Really what?"
Mina tilted her head and looked at her, saying "indignantly".
"Who cares where he goes? I'm deleting him from my game friends list later!"
"Don't!"
Sana spoke first, and after she finished speaking, she paused for a moment, looked away, and then picked up the cushion and hugged it to her chest, as if explaining to herself.
"Never mind... I mean, just leave it as is. A PD might still be of some help to you..."
The sound grew softer and softer. She turned her face away and looked back at the screen, completely ignoring Mina.
Mina didn't reply, but a small smile appeared on her lips as she lowered her head and gently smoothed Sana's hair that was scattered on her legs.
Tzuyu glanced at the two unnies. They were acting strangely, suddenly switching to Japanese. Were they taking advantage of her poor Japanese?
